Features, Flexibility and a lot more Friendly. After much thought and consideration we have decided to go back to the classic CMU7. Compared to the system we use now the Classic is much more FRIENDLY and Offers Much Easier Social Networking Abilities. The original Database is intact so for those of you that was part of CMU7 before May 1st 2008 your login is the same and all your posts are still there. The only thing missing is your photo's. We will not open the Classic Site to the public until January 1st 2009, this will give you time to get your profile set up and updated. For those of you that came on board CMU7 after May 1st 2008 please visit the CLASSIC CMU7 and Register. Set your profile up, post blogs, add Friends, and GET READY to Meet-N-Greet New Members as they come in. Keep in mind we will Open to the Public on January 1st 2009, in the meantime we are building the site, adding features and linking everything up. You can use this time to watch the progress and get to know the site.   A WORD FROM THE CMU7 Librarian    How To Make Money Writing "how-to" Reports    This is the "real" Money Maker in the Internet Marketing Business - the basic "How To" Report. It's something anyone can produce, and with all the proper ingredients at the right time, you can become independently wealthy!  The hard part, of course, is getting all the proper ingredients at the right time.   Your basic "Money Making Report" is usually 10 to 15 pages in length, sells for $10, and outlines instructions, details, or a "How-To Method" for solving a problem:  making more money, saving money, attaining greater happiness, or fulfilling an ambition or desire.   The best advice anyone can give you on how to write a money-making report is to advise you to write as though you were talking to someone.  Write in a style similar to the book reports you used to give when you were in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Be factual, and be clear.  Know your reader and use the kind of language he expects you to use.   Money-Making "How-To" reports we've been talking about are known by many names:  folio, booklet, pamphlet, guide, or even Personal Success Plan.  In reality, these reports are written guidelines that give the reader more information on a subject he wants to know more about.   To get your free four page guide: Go to: CMU7.com, login and click on Library. After much thought and consideration, the old ambulance-chaser finally figured out how to take at least some of his money with him when he died. He instructed his wife to go to the bank and withdraw enough money to fill two pillow cases. He then directed her to take the bags of money to the attic and leave them directly above his bed. His plan: When he passed away, he would reach out and grab the bags on his way to heaven. Several weeks after the funeral, the deceased lawyer’s wife, up in the attic cleaning, came upon the two forgotten pillow cases stuffed with cash. "Oh, that darned old fool," she exclaimed. "I knew he should have had me put the money in the basement." COMPUTER TIP    Hard Drive Fragmentation and Internet Surfing   When you 'surf' the web, your web browser creates what is called a cache. It stores graphics, web pages, etc. from the web onto your hard drive temporarily. The more files you write, delete, and rewrite onto your hard drive, the more likely it is to become fragmented. Thus, when you 'surf' the web, your hard drive will become fragmented.  If you spend more time surfing the internet you should do a "defrag" more often.  This moves files and reorganizes your information making your computer faster.   For XP you will need to go into your Control Panel then Performance and Maintenance.  Then you will need to Click on -Free up space on your hard drive.  This will clean up "Temporary Internet Files" and other excess files.  Next you click on - Rearrange items on your hard disk to make programs run faster.  This will analyze whether you need to defrag. your hard drive or not.  Often It is just good to do this procedure even if the notices tells you that you do not need to.  It will still make your computer run faster.
